About Us...

We are a Christian community who believe "that the way of Jesus is the best possible way to live." Tabernacle consists of ordinary people of all backgrounds and ages. We worship the Lord Jesus Christ, believing him to be the Son of God who gives us peace and joy through his healing, forgiveness and new life.

Our services are lively, with prayer, Bible readings, expository preaching and modern worship. On most Sunday mornings we all meet together for the first twenty minutes, after which the children and young people go to their separate groups. In the evenings and other mornings we remain together for the whole service. Ministry is always available after the services for those whose hearts God has moved or for those who would like prayer for healing. Our Centre is open throughout the week for many activities, but especially to provide help for the homeless.

We meet at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Plassey Street, Penarth, CF64 1EN.

Our services are at 10:30am and 6:00pm every Sunday, with a communion service at 9:30am on a Wednesday morning.

We also hold a variety of small groups and other meetings that run throughout the week.
