Global Mission
'Go into all the world and make disciples' is our great commission from Jesus in Matthew chapter 28.
We are the team who aim to encourage our church members to fulfill this mission!
Our job in the church is ......
- to be sensitive to God's leading in how best to fulfil this vision
- to encourage members of the church to fulfil this mission
- to develop the church's understanding of mission
- to look for, recognise and encourage individual members call to service and be the first point of interview in the church to endorse that calling.
- to support in prayer and practically those who have gone out from Tabs to serve the Lord full time
- to proclaim and demonstrate the gospel for the whole person through support of agreed organisations that share our evangelical Christian belief such as Tearfund, Christian Aid, BMS Birthday Scheme, TWAM,
- Cafe International in Penarth and Home Mission throughout the UK.
- to administer annual budget
- to keep our church connections around the world - Pastor Nimel in Sri Lanka, Tim and Jackie Latham in Uganda, friends in Poland, Romania, etc
